HOROLOGICAL PAINTS

We make our Acrylic Watch Re-Luming Horological Paints from the best ingreadients and only use our purest Strontium Aluminate Photoluminescent Pigments. That results in greater performances of the Glow emissons For our standard grade we use a 30 micron partical size but do offer custommade products using 15 & 3 micron sizes for very fine work.
Our standard colours are Ultra Green, Ultra Blue, Aqua Blue and an Aged Orange. We also sell our formulated Acrylic Waterbased Binder/Top Coat as well as the natural Strontium Pigments for self mixing.

Our Le-Lume Luminous Paints may be used For Watch and Clock Dials, Hands, Numerals,Shapes and Dots. The paint is waterproof when dry and is Non Toxic nor Radio Active and is activated by almost every light source. Our formula is made to be active for at least 20 years and over and comes with technical guidelines.
Watch Lume is a shortened term for Photoluminescent Paint that is applied on new or old watches and clocks, Craftsmen who re-lume watches, or replace faded wornout material formerly used Lume that consisted mostly of tritium; which is radioactive and has been mostly replaced on New Watches by our style of materials.
Common Pigments used in Lume include the phosphorescent pigments Zinc Sulfide and Strontium Aluminates. Use of zinc sulfide for safety related products dates back to the 1930s. However, the development of Strontium Oxide aluminates, with a luminance approximately 10 times greater than Zinc Sulfide, has made it almost redundant for Watch "Reluming" and aslo fails to meet some safety regulations and will be phased out.
